Success at the UNB V-Red Prospects Challenge

Our 1999 team captured the gold medal for a second year in a row. The team was undefeated in round robin play and outscored their opponents 21-8 over their five games. The team was very focused and intense all weekend, which made a difference. The players and their families should be very proud of the accomplishment.

The 1997 team went 3-0-1 in round robin play but came up against a very determined V-Red team in the championship game. It was an exciting game with the V-Red 97s scoring the winning goal with only 2:30 remaining in the game and then adding an empty netter to win their own tournament 4-2, giving our NS Prospects a silver.
