Our 2007 boys went undefeated at the Oyster Cup last weekend in Charlottetown. In their first game ever they defeated the 06 PEI West Coyotes 11-3. Game 2 was a 14-2 win over St-FX Xmen. In the final game of the round robin the boys topped the host team Andrews Riptide 7-4.
In the semi-final matchup the 07s blanked the XMen in a dominant shutout performance by goaltender Sam Oxner.
In the finals they were rematched against the 2006 Coyotes and played their hearts out, winning 7-1 and capturing the Oyster Cup. What an amazing first tournament for an incredibly talented group of young hockey players. We're so proud and looking forward to a bright future for all.
