At Home Program

 

1)      Shots – 3 times per week during April and May the players are expected to take 100 shots. The shots should be wrist shots and backhands, progressing to snap and slap shots. Proper technique and balance are key. Shots should be directed to the 5 scoring holes, not just fired at the net.

 

2)      Stick handling – 3 times per week during April and May the players are expected to stick handle for 5 minutes (usually on the same day they are taking shots). 3)      Additional conditioning – 1 time per week, not on a day with on-ice development, and usually earlier in the week. Sprints should be 100% effort.
                    *5 X 50 metre sprints (after you finish one, walk back to the start and go again)

                                    *3 minute rest

                                    *5 X 50 metre sprints (after you finish one, walk back to the start and go again)

                                    *3 minute rest

                                    *5 X 20 metre sprints (after you finish one, walk back to the start and go again)
