Coach Chris Larade, head coach of our female midget spring program, has been selected as the 2016 Canadian University female hockey coach of the year.
Coach Larade lead his St. Mary's Huskies team to a 17-6-1 record to claim the regular season title. The Huskies followed that up with a play off and conference title to be crowned the Atlantic University champs. These accomplishments also lead to Coach Larade being selected the 2016 AUS Coach of the Year.
St. Mary's enters the CIS hockey championships as the #3 seeded team.
