Tryout Prep and Charity Hockey Camp in Support of the Family of Tyler Naugler

2016-09-04

A great opportunity for hockey developmen and charity

Several weeks ago, Tyler Naugler's dad, Terry Naugler (age 75), who normally resides in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia with his wife of 55 years, Mary (Emma), was in a serious car accident in Ontario. Terry had always been the breadwinner for he and Mary (Emma).

Following several surgeries in Ontario, Terry suffered complications and the long-term prognosis is unclear. Terry remains bedridden in the hospital in Ontario. The immediate family has had significant, unexpected hotel and air travel expenses as a result of the accident.

On Saturday, September 10, 2016, between 4:00 and 8:00 PM at the Saint Mary's University Alumni Arena, the hockey community is going to host a Tryout Prep Camp with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the Naugler family.

Lead instructors will include SMU Men's Varsity Hockey Assistant Coach Ryan Hillier and long time hockey coach Peter Mombourquette, along with several other volunteers and special guests.

The camp will feature a series of fun, high intensity drills to help your kids get ready for tryouts. The camp will be divided into two distinct groups:

1) Atom (2006-2007) on ice from 4:00-6:00 PM;

2) Pee Wee/Bantam (2003-2005) on ice from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Please arrive 30 minutes in advance of your ice time start.

The cost of the camp is only $50.00 and you can register by emailing Peter Mombourquette: Peter.Mombourquette@MSVU.ca

Payments can be made via Interac Etransfer to Peter Mombourquette at the email address listed above or in person between 3:30 and 4:00 PM and 5:30 and 6:00 PM at the SMU rink on Saturday, September 10th.

If you cannot attend please feel free to share this message and/or make a small donation.
