Two Prospects players given award by Acadia Minor Hockey.
Marshall Plandowski (Prospects 2001), and Brette Pettet (Prospects 1999) have been given the 2010 Jack Spindler Memorial Award by their home association, Acadia Minor Hockey.
Jack Spindler was a phys. ed. teacher, who also coached many
many sports. He volunteered hours and hours of his time to kids of all ages. He was lost at sea when his fishing boat sank. This award came to life immediately after his death as he was well respected by all.
This award goes to a player from the top team in each division for dedication, work ethic, enthusiasm and love of the game.
Marshall Plandowski was selected for novice advanced, and Brette Pettet for atom AAA.
