NSP Team 2003 Goalie Jake Goobie and Forward Oscar Plandowski Heading To The Brick Tournament

NSP Team 2003 goalie Jake Goobie and forward Oscar Plandowski will be joining Team Pennsylvania 2003 for the Super Novice (first year atom) Brick Hockey Tournament, taking place in Edmonton in July. Jake and Oscar will have former NHLer Mark Recchi as his head coach. The Brick tournament is an invitation only hockey tournament for the highest performing 10 year olds in North America. Participation in the Brick Tournament is a huge honour as some of the NHLs greatest have also participated such as Jonathan Toews, Dany Heatly, and Jay Bouwmeester but to name a few.

Jake and Oscar join other Prospects players who have had the honour of taking part in the Brick Tournament  starting with Ben Higgins-Chicago Jr Blackhawks in 2009. Matthew Spence, Cole Vardy, Bailey Peach, Ethan Philips and Liam Keeping were all part of the Team Atlantic Junior Selects in 2011. In 2012 our Prospects organization was asked to create another Team Atlantic Canada Junior Selects. Patrick McInnis, Blake Deacon, Justin Hardie, Ben Roode, Tristan Mecenas, Dell Welton and Zach Godbout, all from our Team 2002 Prospects, took part as members of Team Atlantic, at the Brick Tournament.
